Skyl Community Guidelines
Skyl is a professional network for people in the construction trades. Be real, be safe, be useful. These rules apply to posts, comments, messages, jobs, portfolios, profiles, and clubs.
Who this is for
Skyl is for construction-trade professionals and companies. Use your real trade identity. Do not impersonate another person or company.
No sexual or pornographic content
No nudity, sexual content, or sexual services. We have zero tolerance for any sexual content involving minors. Those cases are removed and may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
No harassment or hate
No harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, or targeted abuse. Disagreement is fine. Attacking someone for who they are is not.
No graphic violence or self-harm
No gore, graphic violence, or content that promotes self-harm or suicide. Job-site safety footage is allowed when it is not gratuitous.
No spam or scams
No spam, scams, fake jobs, impersonation, or malware. Do not use bots or fake accounts to inflate engagement.
Jobs and hiring
Job posts must be real. You are responsible for following labour, tax, and immigration law. Skyl is not the employer and is not a party to any hire.
Your content
Only post work you have the right to share. Do not upload other people’s photos, plans, or documents without permission.
How we enforce this
Posts, comments, and messages are scanned automatically and may be reviewed by a person. We may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts. You can appeal a decision by emailing team@skylstudios.com.
How to report
Use Report in the app on a post, profile, comment, or message. For copyright or legal takedown requests, email team@skylstudios.com with a link or description of the content, your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights or are authorized to act.
